When restoration architect Liora Hargreaves is hired to catalog the crumbling cells of Eastern State Penitentiary, she discovers a sealed wing whispered about only in the oldest guard diaries. As the stone walls exhale the cold breath of forgotten inmates, she uncovers a tragedy of a mass escape that was covered up, binding the restless souls to a sorrow so palpable it seeps into her skin. The deeper she digs, the more the prison’s chill gnaws at her marrow, forcing her to choose between exposing the truth and protecting the fragile humanity of those still lingering within the walls.
