At Iron Blossom Academy, elite students develop Bloom Abilities — powers that manifest as physical transformations, each unique to the individual. Transfer student Haru has what everyone dismisses as the weakest ability: making small plants grow. But when Haru accidentally amplifies a classmate's dormant power to catastrophic levels, the truth emerges — his real ability is to bloom the latent potential in others, making him the most dangerous person on campus. The academy's headmaster, who has been secretly suppressing certain students' abilities, believes uncontrolled blooms caused a catastrophe decades ago and will stop at nothing to control Haru's power. As Haru learns to amplify and direct the abilities of those around him, he must navigate rivalries, alliances, and the growing realization that the greatest threat may be the institution meant to protect them.
